Includes:

Instructions:

  • Grind your flowers to a medium - fine consistency, recommended to use our Volcano Grinder
  • Fill the bowl on your PVHES Vortex all the way and very very lightly pack a bit
  • Holding your Air or Solo upside down, insert the PVHES Vortex Stem all the way in and then turn the Air or Solo the right way up
  • Turn your Air or Solo on and heat to your desired temperature ( recommend 4-5 on Air, 6-7 on Solo) with PVHES Vortex inserted during warm up
  • Once Air or Solo reaches your selected temperature wait an extra 60 seconds to heat soak your biomass and PVHES Vortex
  • Take a nice long slow inhalation
  • Wait 30 seconds between hits to allow your Air or Solo to stabilize
  • Due to much less air flow resistance of the PVHES Vortex, resist the urge to inhale too fast, overwhelming the heater
  • Always keep the PVHES Vortex stem in the Air or Solo to retain heat
  • You can raise the temperature to maximum to get the full spectrum from your flowers
  • Bowl is spent when there is no more vapor production
  • Always empty spent bowl while it is still at its hottest, a cool bowl is much harder to empty cleanly

Love the Vortex! It is made very well and hits great. Much better than the stock stems that the Solo comes with. Love that it comes with a tube to store it in. Good company to do business with.

Yea this is so much better then the stock glass provided with the arizer. This piece provides much better air flow creating bigger clouds. I feel I get the most of flowers when using this glass piece.

Wow! The vortex shorty stem works a million times better than the stems that come with the air! Much easier to draw a nice thick Vapor- eliminates the draw resistance problem of the original stems - I will be buying these from now on! I love how long the stem is too.

The bowl is too deep so some of your herb sits above the heating chamber. The single hole leaves an uneven burn around the circumference of the bowl which will cause a premature buildup on your screen. I sometimes need to change the screen twice a day in the Vortex whereas the standard PVHES every few days. It's a shame, I really want to like this stem because I spent so much money on it. Love PlanetVape though, top notch customer service.

Burlington stated in her review that the vortex stems are a gimmick and are 2x price of regular stems. These stems are not 2x more expensive than regular PVHES but rather only 2$ more. I have used virtually all commercially available stem types, glass and wood, since the Solo was released and now with my Air and PV's PVHES regular and vortex stems are the best on the market and are a substantial improvement over stock Arizer stems. IMO worth every penny.

It's a gimmick. Not worth it. Doesn't work much better than the original tubes, but cost twice as much, and the black caps don't fit nearly as well. Will keep using it till I inevitably break it, but would not buy another. For 27 bucks and 8 shipping, I expect more than one free screen.

PV do it again. Its given my solo a new lease of life! I own a PVHES Turbo and this draws better and tastes better for longer. To be honest the taste did not diminish at the end of the bowl as it normally does, think this is because the vortex bowl is a full thick glass oven surrounding the herbs. Thank you again PV, you guys are da shizzle!!
